Hand forging / hand fabrication is the process of forming a design by hammering with or without heat into a desired shape. This process is the rarest type of jewelry construction. It means taking a raw piece of cold rolled or sheets of precious metals, then hand cutting, hammering, and shaping the metal into the desired design. This process makes handmade jewelry almost 50% harder than cast jewelry.

  • Silver 3/4 inch disk is cut from a sheet of sterling silver, then hand textured with a hammer to create the desired effect.

  • Freshwater 7mm cultured pearls are hand wrapped with sterling silver wire and added to the hand forged silver disk.

  • Sterling Silver is the 25th Anniversary Gift.

  • Ear wires are hand cut from a roll of 20 gauge sterling silver, .032 diameter wire, then hand forged into shape.

  • Handcrafted ear wire attaches silver disk and pearl with a secure closed loop.

  • Ear wire, silver disk and pearls become one unit.

  • Earring finished length is 1.25 inches.

  • .We use .935 sterling silver to ensure no skin irritation.

  • We use sterling silver from the USA.
